Panniculectomy

A panniculectomy is designed to remove a pannus, or hanging flap of loose skin and fat, from the abdomen. Panniculectomy surgery is typically performed following massive weight loss. Unlike a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty, a panniculectomy does not involve abdominal muscle tightening. This procedure can be covered by insurance. Dr. Oser may recommend additional cosmetic procedures to achieve the best possible results and will discuss all options with you during your consultation.
